In the video below, you'll be able to see the process of turning a pen from the blank to the finished product.  I sped up the video in most parts in order to not bore you.

I start with an all resin pen blank that I created earlier this week.  Many blanks of this same batch are still available here:   https://mywood.shop/listing/808717491/pen-blank-ocean-alumilite

After drilling and tubing, we pick up with the video.  Using my carbide chisel, I turn down and shape the cigar pen parts.  Then using Eddie Stone's diamond polishing paste, I remove all of the chisel and sandpaper marks and shine the pen up to a glass-like finish from 1k to 80k grit.

Finally, I assemble the cigar pen so you can see all of the pieces that go into the inside.
